History Our school was established in 1997, as a non-profit organization to provide opportunities for our youngsters to lead them in a career path, to fight and eradicate crime, to uplift and enhance the image of ballroom and to prepare our youth to play a meaningful role in the society to develop their talents to the highest possible level. Ever since then we worked very hard to achieve our goals and this year was the toughest of all. As a step towards the realization of our goals our school has this year (2001) alone competed in 3 competitions: 1. The Easter Ballroom and Latin American Festival in East London in April 2. Rama Rhythm challenge @ the Sun City Super-bowl in August. This was our biggest and the most challenging competition for the year where we had 12 couples competed against 27 schools around the country and we were the only school that represented the Eastern Cape Province. Following a weekend of intense competition, mesmerizing combinations and energetic dance routines, the curtain to the North West Rama Rhythm Challenge, presented by Metropolitan Life and held at Sun City, came down on some stunning performances and some new names to remember. I would like to thank all those who gave us their full support to make this trip possible. 3. Last but not least the Eastern Cape Provincial Championships in Port Elizabeth in October. |
