Aloha everyone, my name is Matt and I am from New Hampshire. Here and in southern Maine, where I usually go surfing, I see slim to no serious bodyboarders. All there is are little kids with foam boogie boards from the grocery store and surfers. Also, this is reflected in the surf shops of the area. Between two surf shops near my favorite spot, I found 4 pairs of swimfins, 10 boards, and 3 leashes. Most people don�t even recognize bodyboarding as a sport. For example, I asked one guy at the counter of a surf shop if he had any bodyboarding videos. He just kinda chuckled to himself and said that they didn�t. That�s why I am creating this site- to unite the few New England bodyboarders together for a common cause-to put sponging on the map!
