CAMPAIGN
Our children face overcrowded and bad schools conditions in East LA and Boyle Heights.
In 2001-2002, we won a CLEAN SCHOOL CAMPAING. Now we have launched the build a NEW SCHOOL CAMPAING and are conducting several community conferences, organized protests and meetings, to inform, prepare and help the community with these issues.
With the Teach-Ins program we are informing our community and helping them to make the connections between the economical impact that the war has, in relation to the poor conditions of our schools, and the fact that the targeting of the latino youth by the war recruiters, is another form of racism and discrimination.
