Backyard Camp-out

When the evenings are warm & the sky full of stars, why not have your sleep-over parties outside? There is certainly no elaborate planning involved. Pitch a tent, plan for a bit of water fun before the sun goes down (this might be the perfect occasion to use those dreaded Super Soakers, or have a water balloon toss), have the "tube steaks" (better known as hotdogs) ready for roasting, then allow plenty of free time for story telling around the campfire or by flashlight.

Invite you guests to "Camp [-your last name-]'s":

Having a campfire would be ideal; there is no better way to roast a "tube steak" than on a stick over a campfire...there is just something about it that a hibachi cannot match! However, if you live in an area which does not permit building fires, purchase a couple inexpensive bamboo torches to light the camp; the "tube steaks" will still be tastey even if they are grilled on the hibachi.
