Here it is Valentine's day and no one has sent in their subtexty favorite quotes. So I'm going to make up for the glaring lack of other peoples' opinions by giving you *lots* of my mine. Just a warning, this will be very subtexty (seeing as how it's about the subtext...) and by that I mean maintexty and by that I mean lesbian.
Lets face it, the main reason must of us watch the show is for the relationship (it certainly ain't for the plots!). ROC and Lucy's chemistry on screen is amazing... you can really tell that Gab and Xena love each other in many ways. (That is when they aren't killing/maiming each other, but I blame the producers for those moments :) So between the occasional problems between them and when they're chasing some red-shirt we get to listen subtexty quotes!
"It's hard to be alone."

"I would have told her... how empty my life was before she came... and that I love her."

"Poor Xena? You haven't been listening very well, have you?"
