New Avenue Crew

A block party of bears by Debora Hoffmann

Fun Fur Facts

How Do You Make a Teddy Bear?

For fun, Debora has added some pictures of a bear she made in June 2002. (If you are a bit squeamish and don't like to see bears without their bodies, just bypass the first two photos.)

Part III--A Bear in the Works

In Progress

Here is a mug shot of Juniper in progress. A little woebegone, perhaps, but eagerly anticipating the rest of his body!

And Now, the Ears

Excitement--Juniper's ears are on!

Complete!

And here he is, all finished and standing tall (about 10.5 inches [26.5 cm], to be exact). Juniper is wearing a forest-green alpaca collar with tiny pearls that simulates a juniper branch.

Ahhh...

Surveying the garden is one of Juniper's favorite activities. He is quite fond of plants and flowers, especially those with beautiful fragrances.

Juniper is now happily living in Japan with Hiromi Nagataki, the bear artist behind Teardrops (the link to Teardrops is on the links page).
