That bookstore then sells the same textbook for a used price of $87 to another student. 5. After one semester that student sells the book back to the same bookstore. 6. The bookstore then offers the student same ridiculous price of $45 dollars and with no alternatives the student sells the book. The bookstore just made $42 off that one book. Bookstores will do this semester after semester and year after year until the book is replaced by a newer version. So this could happen for years with just one book. How much do this add up to? First Year: $97 Second Year: $84 Third Year: $84 Forth Year: $84 After Four Years a bookstore can make over $349.00 on just one book!!! Now you know why this service is here! |

By buying used textbooks from students at very low prices and reselling them to other students at a ridiculous price increase, bookstores are showing that they are not concerned with helping students or encouraging higher education. This is not an ethical business practice. These are companies ripping off their own customers time and time again. Nevol Online allows students to have another choice. We don�t expect to change the world or even one university. We only hope to help one student at a time and inform as many students about the current situation as possible.
