Mutations
Mutations do occur in KSR, though it is very rare to find one. Mutated KSR will only be given to the best owners, and most well made homes. These will only occur maybe once for every twenty-five dragons, so if you have on you should feel very privilaged.
There are currently seven known mutations for KSR, they will now be listed from most common to least.
Doppleganger
Kuro'Shiro Ryu with this mutation are born resembling something else, whether it be a person, and animal, or an object/plant. The personality of these KSR will often reflect that of which they resemble. For example, a doppleganger KSR resembling a mouse will be shy, quiet, small, and have a love of cheese and peanut butter. Depending on what the KSR resembles could increase or decrease it's intelligence, some are even known to speak!
Tips: Try to make your page focusing on the thing that you want the KSR to resemble. For example, if you wanted a mouse KSR you could have your persona be a widley known mouse breeder.
Furry
These kuro'shiro ryu have fur instead of scales. They often defy thier elements and become incredibly cuddley and playful, much like a dog. Furry KSR have a tendancy to be a bit stupider than most KSR, usually with the intelligence of a dog.
Tips: For a furry you may want to make your persona an anthro, or furre, themselves. Or somone that just *loves* furry cute things.
Albino
This mutation gives the kuro'shiro ryu no pigment whatsoever. These dragons are always white with pinkish eyes. It is extremly hard to tell a kuro'shiro ryu's element when they have this mutation. Albino KSR have been known to be capable of speech, and they are known to be much stronger elemental wise than most other dragons.
Tips: Albino KSR are attracted to wierd and different things, as well as weaker people that they can protect. For some reason they also love children.
Undead
This mutation is the exact opposite of the unborn. These are mindless, stupid creatures, but are incredibly phsyically strong and cannot feel pain. Peices of flesh or bone may be sticking out the KSR's hide, and on some occassions limbs can be missing, OR they can be plainly just skeletons. They are incredibly morbid looking, but lack personalities.
Tips: Undead are attracted to morbid things, bloodshed, wars, vampirisim, cannibalism, death. You name it, they love it.
Unborn
These KSR seems to have been born much to early, or maybe even not through an egg! They appear sickly, and cannot walk, talk, hear, or see. It is a sad, painful life for unborns. They are physically weak, but thier elemental and psycic powers are extraordinary, as is thier intelligence.
Tips: Like albinos, unborns are attracted to wierd and different things, most especially mental illnessess (schitzophrenia, bipolar dieseas, ect.) though they also seem to be attatched to depressing situations and characters.
Xeno
The scientists on Never Forgotten have debated for years whether Xeno-KSR are dopplegangers or thier own species. Just recently they agreed that they were, indeed, thier own mutations. Xeno KSR have several xenomorphic characteristics, and are second in intelligence only to unborns. They are very violent, and extremely smart, but lack eyes, ears, and noses. They are capable of telepthatic speech with ONE person, usually thier caretaker.
Tips: Xenos are attracted to sci-fi based stories, and large groups of persons. Which, to them, are "food"...your persona must be able to somehow befriend or control a xeno.
Ghost
Ghost KSR are usually genderless and unable to mate. They exist on a completly different plain of existance, and seem blurry or see-through. Ghost KSR can read minds, but cannot speak or use telepathic abilities. Most attacks and elements do not work on them. They also have the ability to enter dreams/nightmares, or travel to alternate dimensions.
Tips: Ghosts are attracted to intelligent and powerful candidates, as well as dark, creepy habitats where other wandering spirits may linger.
