September 30th -
Enduro nationals was on October 1st due to a rain delay. It was really a nice and bright day out there too! We had our car just the way we wanted it and intended to enjoy every minute of it.
We were doing alright untill about lap 25 when I noticed I was getting really loose in the corners so I went in and I ended up stripping a tire. As I was in a friend approached me and asked me to switch my number so that he could get some extra points because he was in a point chase. (he ended up coming off early due to machanical problems) So I agreed and as my dad changed my tire he changed my number.
All went well from there on. I ran strong and hard into the corners and was actually passing a decent amount of cars. We knew I might not make it the whole way on fuel so on about lap 210 I came in for fuel. On lap 213 I was coming off corner 4 and was in the high lane due to slow cars below and ended up getting loose and turned sideways where my rearend was t-boned and put me right into the front stretch wall, facing oncoming traffic from corner 4. Thats where I sat for the remainder of the race due to my front end being pushed so far back that it broke my distributor cap.
We ended the season with a season high of 180 laps and enjoyed every second of it...
C y'all next year!!
August 12th -
Well, we went to delaware with a car and came home with a car so i guess we did alright.
We got to the track a bit early to run some hot laps and were over fueling so bad that we had no choice but to change the carb at the track. We even had to get creative with a few things under the hood.
So we had to start the race at the rear of the field but that didnt really bother us, because we knew we werent going to do much better then the last race. The car handled amazing but we are still looking for that speed which we MIGHT have by next race. Around lap 110 our fan belt snapped and we were forced to come in and get a new one. Unfortunately we spent almost 45-60 laps getting one and getting one on. I would like to thank "All Around" for sponsoring us with a belt to finish the race. I'd also like to thank Bryan for hooking us up with one. Really great guys!
So we got out on the track about lap 180 and started to overheat but finished the race anyways. We finished back in 44th which is a pretty respectable position.
Thanks to everyone that helped out on the car (Kenny and Jamie Hatch, Jeremy Forward and Crew)
I'd also like to thank my family and friends for coming and supporting me.
THANKS EVERYONE!
July 16th -
Well the last race went well for our team.
We ended up running into a small problem with the fuel, but we hope to have that fixed for the next race. We ran the whole race except for about 100 laps due to over heating problems early on, once we got that fixed we were out there for the remainder of the race and are proud to say that we did not put one scratch on the car.
Starting 45th we ended up finishing 43rd out of roughly 80 cars.
We hope to change carburators or engine by next race to give me a little more powers because cornering was great but coming out of the corner without any throttle was not so great. We suspect carb problems or fuel problems. Either way it will be fixed by next race.
I would just like to thank Brittany for taking many pictures and supporting me.
My dad who has always been there helping me all the time.
My uncle Norm who put in a rear hoop and front bars at the last minute.
My uncle greg for coming down on his day off and lending his support.
My whole family and friends who came out to see me get lapped over and over :-)
Thanks Everyone!

May 28th, 2006

I am proud to say the last time we worked on the car everything went well except finding a ting in the starter so were going to lube it up and throw it back on and see if that was the problem if not I think were in trouble.
For the next 2 weeks my uncle and I and my dad will do the final steps (welding) and we'll see you all at the June 10th race!
May 18th, 2006

Today I hope to strap in the fuel cell and hopefully get something metal for the battery to sit in. Then the rest is out of my hands.
We hope but are doughtful for being at the May 20th race. It was my goal and as much as I feel like im letting myself down there really isnt much I can do.
I also hope to finish painting the car either today or tomorrow just so that I feel like its practically finished.
Sorry for such a gloomy update.
Everyone enjoy and be safe on May 24!
but most of all HAVE FUN!
