OSTRON head design:
Below is a drawing of the robotic head i am presently building. It is to be added to my
bipedal robot OSTRON.
All the mechanical aspects of the head are completed next is the electronics which is in the drawing and testing stage. The head movement control circuitry doesnt contain a microprocessor or microcontroller, the circuits are based on artificial reflex neurons.
The head can turn left or right and can make a full 360 degree turn. The eyes can look up and down through 180 degrees.
Most of  the parts other than the parts for the photocell eyes came from discarded electronics components such as VCRs, photocopiers,typewriters
etc.
