"Come here and look at this Cinder." Tiana says with a surprised look on her face.
Cinder, a middle aged man with blond hair and a goatee walks slowly over to the young brunette.
����"What is it Tiana have you found something about what is causing this?" Cinder says as he kneels to the ground making dust fly onto his red pants.
����"Maybe, but I have to run some tests on it first." She says holding a form of yellowish liquid in her small test tube.
She gets to her feet brushing off some mud from her black pants. She hurries to their small tent, places the specimen onto the table, and then takes off her leather vest, showing her black shirt underneath.
She grabs her microscope and places the specimen under the lens. She studies the liquid for minutes and watches as it begins to eat away at the container.
����"Amazing, it's a type of acid." She says and lifts her head from the scope.
She takes the container and puts it in a metal container for future research. She grabs the microscope and watches as the glass of the lens disintegrate into dust.
����"Oh my, its not the acid that is eating away at Jamurra it is the heat radiating around it. Cinder get me some dirt samples there maybe some connection between the acid and the land it self." Tiana yells out to Cinder.
Tiana goes back to work taking samples of the acid to test out other substances seeing if it would disappear. Minutes pass and Cinder still does not enter the tent. Tiana walks to the tent entrance, looks outside, and sees the work area abandoned.
����"Cinder!" She shouts looking around.
She sees footprints heading off into the jungle and decides to follow them. She walks into the dense foliage and looks left and right checking if Cinder is nearby.
����"Cinder!" She calls again even louder this time, but there is still no answer.
She continues on following the tracks until they disappear into a small creak. She looks around frustrated that Cinder had left her alone. A snap from her left draws her attention and she moves to where she had thought the sound had came from. She pushes her way through the thick vines and sees red on the other side of a tree.
����"Cinder is that you?" she calls cautiously moving her way through the undergrowth.
She rounds the tree and grabs a hold of Cinder's arm. He swings around a dark green vine wrapped firmly around his neck his face froze in a look of agony. Tiana backs up screaming and watches as the vine twist turning his body in slow circles.
����"He didn't suffer, much." A voice calls from the forest making Tiana shudder in fear.
����"Why are you doing this!" Tiana tries to yell but her voice comes out in a whisper.
����"You Coalition scum did this to me." The voice says its sound vibrating through Tiana's bones making her shuddering uncontrollable.
A branch creaks and a shadow darts through the leaves above Tiana's head. Tiana whirled around frantically; fear on her face, desperately trying to find the source of the voice.
����"I'll give you one minute to try to escape then I will chase you down and kill you like you friend over there." The voice calls.
Tiana wait a few seconds then dashes away. She dodges through the vines and runs further away from her tent. She tries to jump the creek but splashes in the center of it instead. She grabs onto the high bank and pulls on the mud trying to pull herself out but she falls back into the freezing water. She tries once more but fails once again. She looks for another exit and sees one thirty feet away from her.
She slowly makes her way through the clear water is about to reach the embankment when she hears a large splash. She looks over her shoulder and sees a large elf man with red hair crouching in the knee high water. She begins to walk toward the elf but stops in her tracks as she sees the elf grin.
����"Time to die." The elf yells and leaps toward her.
Tiana prepares herself for the blow as he soars through the air his wild red hair trailing behind him. He is only a few feet away when another man in khakis and a safari jacket hits him from the side. The elf is flung against the opposite wall and falls into the water. It begins to get up but is pinned quickly by the mans muscular arms.
The man turns to Tiana and yells "Run quickly, while I hold him down."
Tiana trudges to the banks and runs up the muddy ground slipping occasionally. The man struggles to hold the elf down but is kicked in the stomach by the squirming elf. He falls into the churning water and the elf grabs him around the neck, He pulls a small needle filled with yellowish liquid from his small pouch and puts it into the mans neck. He slowly pushes the switch down on the needle inserting a small amount of liquid into the body of the man. The elf is about to push it again when a small rock flies through the air and hits the elf in the head startling the elf.
The man jumps up, pulls out the needle, stabs it into the elf, and pushes the switch all the way down, the liquid rushes into the elf, and it begins to twitch rapidly. The man runs out of the window and reaches Tiana still holding a couple rocks in her hands ready to throw them.
����"Thanks." The man says.
����"No, Thank you for saving me from that beast." Tiana says.
����"Don't worry about now lets get out of here." The man says and they begin to walk back to Tiana's camp.
����" What is your name by they way." Tiana asks looking at the young man, his hair slowly rocking back in forth as the walked.
����"I am Urza Lander, and you?" Urza says looking at Tiana.
����"Tiana Brooks, nice to meat you Urza." She replies.
Tiana pushes through some brambles with her vest and they arrive at the camp where they find visitors.
����"Nethya, is that you?" She says walk to the people.
Nethya turns around to find Tiana and another person walking out of the forest. She runs to meet them concern on her face.
����"What happened?" Nethya asks.
����"An elf killed Cinder and was going to kill me until Urza saved me." Tiana said.
She turns to Urza gives a quick thank you and then looks back to Tiana "That wasn't a true elf, that was Dakmor in his new form. Now lets get out of here we will speak of these happenings when we arrive at the council." She says.
The three walk over to the two golden drakes where they find White Knight. They climb onto the drake's back and they soon fly away. Leaving Fate to watch them from the ground as he transforms his new body into a powerful phyrexians.
