Urdrag's Revenge: Chapter 3

A roar of laughter erupts in the bar as White Knight does a rendition of the battler aboard the Vengeance.
��"I proceeded to stab the stupid imp in the back." He says as he jabs into an imaginary person causing another round of laughter.
��"If you are such a hero, why are you here running a bar instead of traveling with your companions." A man named Jodah asks.
��"Well for one the ship was destroyed on the crash landing and another is most of the crew is here except for a few who joined other crews." White Knight replies.

Nethya suddenly runs through the door of the bar, a frantic look on her face.
��"White Knight I have to talk to you!" she yells over the laughter and quickly walks over to him.
��"What is it Nethya?" He says turning his head to look at her.
��"The phyrexians are coming back." She says.
��"What are you talking about? We destroyed the remaining phyrexians and they are not able to return." White Knight says looking into her eyes.
��"Prophet came to me in my dream and warned me of the coming invasion and that Dakmor survived the Vengeance crash." Nethya says.
��"Dakmor is dead we found his body leaning against a tree four years ago." White Knight says to Nethya.
��"Prophet told me that he took on a new form." Nethya says beginning to get frustrated.
��"It isn't possible Nethya, now look stop with this nonsense and let me help you with that cut on your forehead." White Knight says and dabs a white towel at the gash.

A cold breeze brushes at the back Nethya's neck throwing chills up and down her spine. She puts her right hand to her neck and feels it is ice cold. Her breath comes out in puffs of smoke as she turns to see where the cold had come from. The only thing she sees are the men sitting at tables drinking beer.
��"I thought I felt something." She begins and then faces back to White Knight and instead of her comrade she sees Prophet staring at her with dead eyes.
��"Run, there is a bomb in the bar." She cries and then turns to her right looking at something, "I must go they are looking for me."

Prophet floats through the opposite side of the bar leaving a chillness in the air. Loud growling noises come from the wall and to her utter horror two canines jump through the wall and land on the counter.

They look around the bar baring their sharp teeth their ears pointing straight toward the place Prophet had gone. One looks at Nethya and lunges at her. She flies to the ground knocking over a table in the process.

The apparition puts its ghostly paws on her shoulders. She tries to move but the paws press down on her making her shiver. It sniffs her and barks at her once more and then it runs after its companion.
��"Nethya what wrong?" He asks with concern as he kneels next to her.

He picks her up and he feels that she is cold as ice. He presses her against his chest trying to warm her but is unable to.
��"Jodah get some blankets from the storage room quickly." White Knight yells.

Jodah runs past them and nearly trips over the fallen table.
��"White Knight there is a bomb in the bar we have to get out of here." She says quivering from the cold.
��"She's delirious we have to get her warm or she may die." White Knight says.

Jodah, loaded with blankets runs into the room and gives them to White Knight. White Knight wraps her up in the blankets and tells Jodah to get Crusader.
��"We have to get out of here, or we will all die." Nethya says and fights out of the blankets but still shakes from the cold.
��"Nethya there is no bomb in the bar. Calm down." White Knight says.

Nethya runs out of the bar closely followed by White Knight. He grabs her arms, turns her around, and shakes her trying to get her to her senses.
��"Nethya you are hallucinating there is no bomb in my bar." He says.

From the bar a voice calls out something "I found a note."
��"What does it say?" White Knight says.
��"It says 'Boom,'" The voice says.

"What�" White Knight begins but a huge explosion is heard from inside the bar.

The glass in the bar windows breaks and plumes of fire and smoke erupt. Screams of agony come from the bar but are silence when a second blast incinerates everything in the bar. White Knight and Nethya are thrown to the ground by a shockwave created by the blast. The walls of the bar explode outward into giant chunks of wood and stone. Simultaneously the roof of the bar caves in causing another explosion. Fiery debris rain down on the two from the blackened sky singeing their skin and clothes.

A few hours later Crusader and Jodah arrive to find the bar in smoldering ruins. Nothing was left of the bar but the melted poles of the doorframe. They walk through the decimated bar moving boards trying to find any survivors, but only find the charred remains of who was in the bar.
��"Nethya!" Crusader calls out holding his hands to his mouth making his voice louder.

Outside of the bar part of the bar counter creaks and then falls over startling Jodah. He turns to find out what had knocked it over and he sees two bodies rising to their feet.
��"Crusader, they are over here!" Jodah calls out and rushes to the two.

Crusader leaps over burnt boards and lands in front of Nethya and White Knight. He embraces Nethya in a giant hug and doesn't let go until she squirms loose.

��"I thought I had lost you." Crusader says a single tear rolling down his face.
��"They can't get rid of me that easy." She says and then turns to White Knight "Do you believe me now?"
��"I'm starting to." White Knight says looking at his bar.

The sunny afternoon turn a bluish color and the air draws cold. Nethya looks to the familiar face of Prophet who stares at her intently.
��"Call the faction members and tell them what has happened." The wind blows and Prophet turns her face to it. "Alexi has informed me that Tiana is in danger! Fate is near her position, if he catches her he will have you under his control because of your love for her."

With that Prophet flies away and the coldness disappears. She turns to and sees Crusaders concerned face.
��"Tiana is in trouble. Crusader where is her location at?" Nethya asks.
��"She is in Jamurra with Cinder surveying the decline in land mass there." He replies.
��"Crusader you and Jodah round up the coalition leaders and we will meet you at the academy. White Knight you are with me, we are going to save my sister." She says and then stalks off to the town aviary.
