The dark woods surrounded Teeka as she ran for her life. She had
been walking from the coalition camp when she stumbled upon a dark cave, in which she found something she could not describe in words.
All around the cave lied blood stained bones, some of which had been smashed so badly that they were not recognizable. The carcass of a freshly slain grizzly bear lay in the corner of the cave. Then suddenly a claw shot from its flesh and sliced the dead bear in half. Teeka had screamed a scream of utter horror. Teeka found herself staring into the dark eyes of a terrifying beast. Slowly she had realized that it was a kavu. These were large lizards like creatures that lived in the forests of Dominaria.
After realizing this she had started to run knowing, that if she stopped or even slowed down that she would end up like the bear. Teeka vaulted over a fallen tree and grabbed hold of a low hanging branch. Teeka pulled herself into the branch and started to climb higher up into the boughs of the tree. As she neared a branch that she thought would hold her weight for a while she looked down and saw the kavu reach the tree. It looked up at her and started to walk away. Teeka breathing began to slow figuring that she would be safe up in the tree.
The kavu walked away and Teeka began to climb down when she felt the tree shake. She looked down and saw the massive kavu was ramming its lupine head against the tree trunk. Teeka realized that she was not safe. She decided to climb higher. Teeka climbed until she was thoroughly exhausted. When suddenly a loud cracking sound split the silence. Teeka felt the tree begin to slip away. She jumped. Teeka flew through the air and saw the kavu trying to find her. Teeka laughed inwardly to herself. She fell and landed onto her arm on the ground. Hearing it snap she realized she had broken it. She looked up and saw a pack of kavu staring at her. She had barely enough time to scream before the kavu were on her. The last thing she saw before her vision faded into black was that of kavus knife-like teeth heading
right for her face.
