darkness

my eyes glazed over in grey at the vision of your fading face and i smiled a crackled red smile- really fiery red for all the hate in my soul my tears dried up in a rusty well that had no more wishes to grant and dandelion fluff slowly blew into my eyes- a snowy circus danced around me i licked my lips glossy and opened my mouth to expose half-chewed strawberry seeds- blacker than death. and as the wind carried my laughter with it my hair moved aside to expose faded tan lines- memories of who i once was before the sun turned so damn dark.
