Once in a while, our Heavenly Father takes special young spirits away from us. Everyday, all over the world young people die. It isn't right, it isn't fair, but it happens, and it greives us. Yet we can't always see through the eyes of the Lord, who has a greater plan for every living creature.

I would like to make a dedication to my late fiance, JJ James, who passed away at the age of 17. JJ was a valiant servant of God and an angel sent to earth. His life was a story of great courage, strength, fighting, and love. At 16, JJ was diagnosed with cancer. He struggled with it until October of 2000. After it went into remission, we beleived our prayers had been answered. And in a way, they had. The next few months of my life I learned what joy really is. And what abounding with the love of Christ really means. JJ glowed with the love of Christ, and served Him. He longed to be a missionary one day, and afterwards, would be our marriage. His love was virtuous and praise-worthy, and he deemed me as a daughter of God, and a princess. And he was my prince.

JJ passed away in a sudden and tragic car accident on January 1, 2001 at 11:15 pm, along with his 5 year old brother, Benjamin James, who was in the car with him. Little Ben died instantly and JJ died 5 minutes later, before paramedics could even begin to tear the rubble away from him. He died enveloping his dear brother in his arms. They now rest peacefully side by side, along with their mother who passed away giving birth to Ben. We are all sure that on the fatal night, a joyous reunion in the Spirit World also took place.

JJ will forever live on in our hearts, and will certainly live on in mine. For, although 5 months have passed since he died, I am still in love with JJ. I will always love JJ.
