You were a loving husband, great daddy, and best buddy too.
You attended to our every need.
All of our desires, you provided indeed.
Your work down here will truly speak for you, because,
Anything asked, you would kindly do.
Not a moment passes in our lives,
That you don't somehow, someway cross our minds.
Our hearts broke that summer afternoon, when God closed those warm, caring eyes...
And whispered lovingly and gently, "Peace be thine"
We find comfort in knowing that He always knows what is best,
That when He called you home, you found eternal and everlasting rest.
