NET MEMORIAL
In loving memory of those whom you love dearly

Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

LET NOT THE PAST CRIPPLE YOU

One day when I was driving a company car along the Central Express Way (Singapore), suddenly, the rear mirror in front of me dropped. I was stunned for a moment. Fortunately, at that time, a colleague of mine who was sitting beside me, immediately fixed it back with a tape. It was then that I realised the importance of the rear mirror.

The rear mirror enables us to look back so that we know when we can safely filter into another lane, when we can safely reverse the car or jam the brake. However, when we are moving on the road, it is very dangerous, if we keep looking at the rear mirror without looking at the front or side.

In life, we also need to look back ocassionally, but yet for the purpose of moving forward. It is dangerous to keep looking back without looking forward. Likewise, it is unwise to keep looking forward without looking back.

Do not allow past experiences to cripple you but use the past as lessons for you to make wiser decision as you move forward with your life.
