Clifford Ellis Hill, 82, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away Friday, March 23, 2001, at St. Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee's Summit, MO. A Mass will follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions, in memory of Clifford, to the American Red Cross. Mr. Hill was born October 26, 1918 in Tama, IA, the son of Hugh and Hazel Hill. Clifford graduated from Tama High School in 1936. He married his high school sweetheart, Mary June Lawler, April 30, 1942. Mr. Hill moved to Des Moines, IA, where he took a position as auditor with Boss Hotels. After several years, he became part owner of Electric Equipment Co. In 1963, Mr. Hill moved his family to Overland Park, KS taking the Comptroller's position with Great Northern Electric Co. He retired in 1982 as Vice-President. Mr. Hill served as President of the National Campers and Hikers Association, President of the Kaw Valley Rotary Club, Executive Treasurer of the National Electrical Contractors Association, and a trustee of the IBEW Local Union 124 Health, Welfare and Pension Committees. Mr. Hill was a member of Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church in Lee's Summit.

He is survived by his wife, June of Lee's Summit, MO a daughter, Cheryl, Bethesda, MD four sons, Craig, Olathe, KS, David, Dennis and Steven, all of Lee's Summit, MO a brother, Roger, Tama, IA 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
