Network for Environmentally- & Socially-Sustainable Tourism (Thailand)

Natapon was born in Songkhla in southern Thailand in 1971, and moved to the USA with his family in 1973. He spent most of his early life in Danville, Illinois.

Natapon (or Eddy) graduated with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science and a Certificate in Business Studies from the University of Indiana at Bloomington. After graduation he travelled back to Thailand to work in the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI), which is where he met Sophia!

He has since worked in environmental consultancies and for the Business and Environment group of the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD). Right now he is concentrating on developing this Network and on his Master's degree in Environmental Auditing which he is taking as a distance learning course from the University of Wales at Aberystwyth.

Natapon is interested in developing techniques which take a greater account of the contribution of the environment in financial balance sheets.

He is a Director and one of the founders of NESSThai.
