Vanessa came out onstage and sang and played a beautiful version of �Papa�. But when she started to talk, her voice went hoarse and low. She herself called it �manly�.

She had an awful cold and had just received a shot of B12 in the you-know-where. Even though it was difficult for her to sing and talk at times � she had to stop in the middle of Ordinary Day - she pulled through. She had no complaints except those that accompanied honest jokes about her condition and stayed positive throughout the entire night.

People brought her hot tea and then whiskey (you should have seen it � she took a drink, her face light up and she exclaimed �There is whiskey in here! Mark, was this your idea?�). Her honesty was remarkable � not only did she tell candid stories about her songs as usual but she openly talked about her cold, how upset she was for our sake (�Oh, no! I have never done this before!�), and thanked us for our patience.

Despite this, she sang and played as beautiful as ever. I had shivers down my spine for almost every song! In the beginning of the concert, she said the show would have to be brief because of her cold but promised to be around afterwards, shaking everyone�s hand. Not only did she play an entire set of songs despite her cold, she also kept her promise! She must have signed autographs and shaken hands for hours as she talked to every single person at the concert that stopped by. Her eyes just sparkled throughout the entire night. Vanessa, please get better soon!!!
