Chapter 27: Staying Friends

Andrea smoothed out her hair as she looked at the scar on her arm. It had been almost 10 months to the day that her life had changed. She got kicked out of her house and became a cold-blooded murderer. But none of the guys found out, not even Justin, who she'd been talking to even more than Joey lately.

Joey was still in love with Andrea and tried to convince himself it was best to wait, but it was getting harder for him to just stay friends with her. The way she flipped her hair around when they would get a chance to talk together, the way she would crawl into his bed when she was cold, the way she'd delicately kiss his cheek when he did something nice for her. He felt like he couldn't wait anymore.

Andrea was still killing people, and hiding it well. They were on tour now, and she felt so happy with her life. Whenever some groupie chick would come onto the bus, she would end up killing them. And the guys wondered why James suddenly disappeared when they went for a 2-day photo shoot. It was all Andrea. And she was proud.

She hadn't controlled her weed cravings just yet, and before she had to go to the Christmas dance with the guys, she had to go find some weed or she was going to explode. Joey and Andrea were both now hooked on it. Andrea had become an excellent liar telling Joey it was a normal cigarette. Now there was a light stench of it around the bus and Joey would always get lectures from the guys about smoking on tour. But Joey didn't care anymore.

Andrea looked over the little Gucci blue dress she was wearing to the dance in the bathroom and Joey snuck up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, and whispering into her ear, "I love you."

"I know," she replied, pulling out of his grasp and squeezing out of the bathroom. Why was she always running away from me? Was always the thoughts running through his mind as she went out and met Justin outside, leaning on the bus, smoking a light cigarette.

They had to talk.
