Chapter 28: Business Is Business

"When did you start smoking?" Andrea asked, starting to giggle as she saw Justin pull the cigarette out of his mouth.

"I just felt like I needed one tonight, I'm going to see Britney and she's been on my nerves lately," he took a nervous puff out of the cigarette and handed it to Andrea, "Need a hit?"

"Hell yeah," she took the cigarette from him and took a long, deep puff from it and then handed it back to him, "Pretty good. You got lights this time?"

"Well, it's my first god damn cigarette, Andy! What do you expect? I don't need to get addicted to these things, I've got to sing, unlike prick head," he replied, taking another puff and leaning back against the bus again.

"I've got to talk to you about something," Andrea leaned up against the bus, running her hands over and over, creating friction for her cold arms to get warm, "It's kind of important."

"Yeah, what is it?" he finally finished the cigarette and threw it to the ground, stepping on it to put it out.

"Joey's been acting really funny around me and I'm wondering why," she said, Justin giving her his light jacket to help her arms get warm.

"Don't you remember when you first came here that he told you he loved you?"

"No, actually. I don't remember that."

"Well, he's in love with you Andy, he's taken care of you this whole time, I think you need to give him a chance," Justin said, hoping his friend would give Joey a chance. He was crazy about her.

"And I think you need to go fuck off, Justin!" she gave him the middle finger and started to walk in the direction of where she needed to go.

"Wait, Andy, I didn't mean to upset you! Now where are you going?"

"To do business," she replied, yelling back to him, "You can come if you want, but you have to promise me that you won't tell the guys."

"I won't," he replied as he caught up to Andrea, not prepared for what was about to unfold.
