Chapter 13: Justin: A Friend?

Andrea took a deep breath as she sunk her head down from her shoulders in the back of the bus, "And that's pretty much my sucky life for 2 whole days."

"Man!" Justin let out, taking her into a deep hug, "I am so sorry I judged you."

"It's okay," Andrea smiled in his embrace, "I never thought you would end up being a friend to me. I thought you hated my guts."

"Whenever you need to talk, you can always talk to me," Justin assured her, pulling away and looking into her young blue eyes, "I'll always be a friend."

"Please don't tell anyone," Andrea begged him.

"I won't," Justin assured her, "Now, you better go to bed. It's late and you need to sleep after what has happened tonight."

"Okay," she took a breath and got up from the back, headed towards the bathroom and looked at it with fear, "Should I get the knife?" she whispered back to Justin, looking at him with tears filling her eyes.

"No," Justin replied to her, "You just go to bed. I'll get it."

"Thank you," she whispered to him, "Please don't give them any hints that this happened. Just treat me like a bitch and that you still think I'ma"

"Whore?" Justin finished her sentence and smiled at her.

"Yes," Andrea replied, smiling back at him, diving into her bunk.

Justin headed to the bathroom and looked at the sink, where the knife with a small drizzle of blood sat. He walked over to it slowly and took it in his hand, examining it carefully like it were an ancient artifact. He couldn't believe this knife came to close to killing his now friend. If it weren't for him, the unthinkable would have happened. He was thankful that he walked in on her as he took the knife out to the kitchen sink and washed it off. He then placed it in the bottom drawer, hopefully not to be touched by Andrea again.
