Chapter 25

"What's up with her?" Justin asked, completely confused of what happened.

"Justin, Brad was acting like you and she ended up declaring that she loved you to him!" he could have slapped him on the back of the head. The bleached blonde was completely confused of the events of the past hour, "And just where the hell were you after you went to the fucking potty?"

"I was looking for her."

"Ohbut you gave up?"

"No. I came to look here."

"Oh ok...if you will excuse me I have to check on Mandie," Lance walked to the bathroom and softly knocked on the door, "Mandie? It's mecan I come in?"

"Yeah," Mandie replied quietly as Lance opened the door. She was sitting near the toilet, having just thrown up from stress, "I'm sorry, Lance. I don't want you to see me like this."

"Mandie," Lance leaned down next to her and gave her a strong hug, "I'm not mad at you."

"Huh?" Mandie was surprised, "Why not? I was pregnant, Lance. There's no reason you shouldn't hate me."

"There's no reason I should hate you Mandie...it's not your fault," Lance placed his hand on her cheek and stroked it with her thumb.

"Yes it is," she cried and turned away from him.

"No, it's not Mandie," Lance pulled her chin up and looked into her eyes, "Nothing could change that fact that I'm in love with you."

"W-wh-What did you just say?" Mandie muttered practically inaudibly as she looked into his light green eyes, sensing pure truth in them.

"I love you," he said and gave her a gentle kiss on the lips, quickly getting deeper.

Mandie pulled away, "You hardly know me Lance...how could you love me?" she looked at the floor.

"Time is no thing to me, I knew from the start that you were someone I would never forget," Lance replied, not pulling up her chin again, "As long as I've known you, I got to know who you really are and that's what makes me love you."

"I don't know if I can believe you Lance," Mandie started to cry again, "I mean, you're making me feel like I'm so beautiful when I'm so ugly for getting an abortion. How can you love that?"

"Mandie it's not your fault. You weren't ready for a child."

"But I killed it...I feel like a murderer Lance," she cried out.

Lance didn't know what to do so he pulled her into his embrace and stroked her hair, "You are not ugly," he finally managed to get out, "You're the most positive person I've ever met. Well, you and Cass are both positive."

Mandie looked up at Lance and said, "Can I really believe you when you say 'I love you'?"

"You can count on it, doll," he gave her a quick wink and kissed her.

Mandie smiled as Lance got up and helped her up. He put his arm around her waist, "Oh Lance?"

"Hmmm?"

"I love you too."

"Oh, that makes me feel so much better," Lance said as they walked out into the bedroom. Mandie immediately flopped herself on the bed, happy.

"I love you so much!" she exclaimed as he fell on top of her and started to make out.
