Chapter 26

*Meanwhile*

Justin was looking everywhere to find Cass. He was trying to remember her fake name because she might have used it and gotten a new room. He was thinking as he walked up to the concierge and said, "Is Juliet Carlisle staying here?"

"Yes she is," he replied, "She's staying in room 205."

"Thanks," Justin said and ran to the elevator when he reached the 2nd floor he ran to the room and knocked quietly, "Cass, please let me in," Justin tried to talk to her through the door, but Cass ignored him. She felt like she couldn't trust a soul anymore, not even Justin. She was too afraid it was Brad after he had woken up from the hard hit on the head.

"I'm sorry, but how did you get my room number?" Cass asked, not believing it was Justin.

"Concierge, please let me in," Justin started to pound lightly on the door.

"I can't do that, this is a private room and if you came in, it'd be public," Cass replied, throwing herself on the bed inside and ignoring Justin's silent pleas.

"Cass it's Justin c'mon let me in."

"I can't do that...it's not really you...and Brad I'm not giving you Mandie...you'll have to kill me first."

"Juliet Carlisle... please let me in."

Cass looked up and ran to the door. She didn't see anything when she looked through the peek hole, "Where in the fuck are you? How did you know my cover-up?"

"I just knew okay? And I'm on the floor because you're not opening the god damn door," Justin told her from the floor.

"I'm sorry, but Brad, I just can't let you in," Cass walked back towards the bed and turned on the television, smiling to herself that she had not given into Brad. But she didn't know it was Justin and she was putting him through hell by just making him sit outside her hotel room.

"Ok, fine I'll leavebut my name's not Brad it's Justin," he shook his head and rode the elevator up and walked into the pent house wanting to talk to Mandie.

Cass quickly jumped off the bed and to the door, fumbling with the locks and opening the door. She saw Justin in the elevator, the doors closing, and she sighed. She didn't even bother following him; he probably didn't feel the same way she did about him anyway. She went back to the bed and fell on it, neglecting the program she was watching in French and thought about her relationship with him, if she really had any.

*Meanwhile*

Justin finally reached the penthouse suite, disappointed he didn't get a chance to talk to Cass about his feelings for her. He wanted to flop himself on the bed when he saw Mandie and Lance making out.

"Whoops, sorry!" Justin exclaimed, holding his hands up in defense as they stopped kissing.

"No its okay Jwhat's wrong?" Mandie asked from underneath Lance.

"I was wondering if you could talk to Cass."

"I could, why?" Lance climbed off of Mandie and she sat up.

"She doesn't think its me. I walked to her new room and she thinks I'm Brad."

"Well, I wouldn't blame her," Mandie said, straightening out her shirt, "Brad tricked her into believing it was you and she said that she loved you, which she really does."

"Oy," Justin ran a hand through his clearly messed up curls, "I don't know what I'm doing to do about her."

"Well, first of all, how do you really feel about her? We're all confused about that as well as Cass is probably completely lost."

"I love her," Justin said calmly looking into Mandie's hazel eyes.

Mandie looked to the floor, "Wait a second...where's Brad?" Mandie looked around the room and walked out into the living room and screamedLance and Justin walked out and saw Brad holding a switchblade to her neck.

"I'll be taking her to where Cass is and I'm going to rape Cass right in front of her 'big sis's' eyes!" Brad laughed.

"Don't you dare lay a hand on her!" Justin exclaimed, wanting to just rip his head off.

"Oh and what are you going to do about it, loverboy? I'll just pretend it's you again, she'll fall for it, she's gullible enough," Brad smiled as Mandie was praying for her salvation underneath his harsh grasp.

Lance stepped forward, "Step another inch and she gets it," Brad shouted.

"Listen, Brad we don't want trouble...just let her go," Lance said, scared for Mandie.

"You heard them, let her go!" they heard strong shouts from behind them.

"Smokey! Buster!" Mandie yelled and Brad tensed up underneath her.

"Duh duh duh duh!" Buster imitated the cartoons from where someone saves the day.

"Shut up," Smokey elbowed him.

"I swear don't get close, I'll do it," Brad yelled.

"Please Brad what do you want with me?" Mandie cried out feeling a bruise on her neck forming.

"That's it exactly, you," he pulled her neck over and gave her a forced kiss. Everyone just stood there and watched him as he kissed her. Lance could have exploded right there at the moment. He had put the switchblade down, so Smokey and Buster grabbed him and started to drag him away. Mandie dropped to the floor and grabbed her neck in pain and Lance quickly ran to her side.

"Are you okay?" Lance let her fall into his embrace.

"I'll be okay, thank god," Mandie gasped.

"Let me the fuck go!" Brad yelled piercingly loud as Buster and Smokey tried to restrain him.

"That'll be a no," Buster replied as he grabbed the switchblade from Brad's hand, "You're going to what they call the 'French' jail."

"Buster, would you mind sparing us the jokes?" Smokey told him as Buster smiled a cheesy smile back.

"Oh yah sorry," They drug brad out of the penthouse and Mandie was crying into Lance's shoulder.

"What did I do to deserve this?...it's cuz I killed my baby huh?" Mandie cried out.

"No, I don't know why honey," Lance held Mandie in the same position, letting her cry on his shoulder.

"By the way, where is Cass?" Mandie asked gently.
