Chapter 13

*~*Meanwhile*~*

Justin sat back down, watching Cass in her slumber, wondering when she was going to wake up. He felt a little funny watching her while the nurse was watching from over her shoulder, so he redirected his attention to the television, not taking his mind off of Cass.

"Ok I'm gonna give Cass an IV so she doesn't feel awful when she wakes up" the nurse told Justin.

"Huh?...oh ok," he said quietly still watching TV and saw that the diary of Britney Spears was on he quickly changed it.

"I can't stand to see myself with her anymore," Justin sighed as he watched the nurse replace the old IV with the new one.

"Believe me, you don't need love," the nurse replied to him, "All it does is rip your heart open."

"Not all the time," Justin replied, letting the television rest on "Spongebob Squarepants".

"That's trueonce you find that one person your stuck right?"

"Of course," he said the nurse quietly walked out of the room. And Justin looked over at Cass who was beginning to wake.

"What happened?" it sounded like she was drunk. She didn't lift her head off her pillow, just laid there in slight confusion.

"Hey, you're up," Justin smiled, getting up from his chair, "How are you feeling?"

"Tired and my head hurts," she replied, then squinted her eyes like she didn't believe what she was seeing, "I know Justin Timberlake?"

"Umm, yah, we met at McDonalds."

She laughed, "Where's Mandie?"

"On a date."

"With who?"

"Lance."

"Lance? We don't know Lance. I didn't even know I knew you."

"That's what you get when you get drugged."

"Aren't I supposed to be at TRL?"

"Yes you are but Carson drugged you with sedatives."

"I love you," she suddenly said without thinking and then covered her mouth.

He looked at her shocked. "Whwha did you say" He asked as if he didn't know.

"I didn't say anything."

"Whatever," he smiled and looked into her eyes. She looked into his loving blue eyes and he leaned into her.

"Wait, I can't do this," he said less than a couple inches away from her face and Cass put a sad pout on her face.

"Why not?" she asked, letting her head relax on the pillow as he lifted himself back up from the leaning position he was in.

"You won't even remember it, Cass, it's not worth just kissing someone when you won't even remember the kiss," Justin sighed and sat back down in his chair by the television.

"Who said I would forget?" Cass smiled.

"I did, you're still drugged, it wouldn't be right," Justin pushed a piece of her hair out of her face.

"Fuck you," she turned on her side away from him.

"Whatever Cass, you know it's wrong for me to kiss you now," Justin just looked at her with this secret longing.

"Whoever said I liked you?" she spat out, still looking at the curtain that separated her from the other bed.

"Cass, you don't know what you're saying," Justin tried to reason with her.

"Fuck you asshole!" she yelled, finally turning to him, "I may have liked you before, but this is it! I didn't believe I liked such a prick like you."

He just stood there staring at her and his cell phone started to ring but he didn't bother answering it.

"Are you gonna get that" Cass said annoyed.

"Yah," he flipped out his cell phone and pressed talk, "It's me whatta you want?"

"Hey J its Mandie."

"Hi."

"How is she?"

"Hating me," Justin replied as Cass just turned away from him.

"What did you do to her?" Mandie asked, annoyed.

"She said she loved me Mandie, so I did what any guy would do, I tried to kiss her," he replied, sighing and sinking into his chair.

"Ass! Don't you know she's drugged? She can't control what she says or does," Mandie yelled into the receiver.

"But didn't you tell me that she was in love with me? How can I tell that she's drugged when she says something like that?"

"Yes but she's drugged, don't fucking take advantage of that...my god Justin are you a complete airhead!"

"But I didn't kiss her I backed away and then she got on my ass started yelling at me cuz I didn't."

"Shit, I'm coming over."

"No don't...enjoy your date with Lance."

"Well, I don't know if I should if she's being hysterical..."

"I can handle her, don't worry about it."

"Fuck no, you can't handle me!" Cass yelled and then laid her head back on the pillow, seeming to calm down a little.

"Just," he sighed into the receiver, "Please stay with Lance."

"Why?" Mandie put her hand on her hair, "No one understands her more then me."

"Mandie please enjoy your date, I can handle it, trust me."

"Why should I trust you?...you almost kissed her how do I know you won't try to fuck her?"

"You know I'm not like that, Mandie, now hang the fuck up and enjoy your damn date!" he ended up yelling into the receiver, receiving a harsh stare from the nurses.

"Yeah sure, Justin, I don't know if I should completely trust your raging hormones with Cass. I mean, you just broke up with Britney, you're desperate, what if you do something you'll regret later?"

"I won't ok?" he yelled.

"Fuck...fine ok bye."

"Lata."
