     These pages contain the contents of some scrap books kept by several Nesquehoning residents. Most are from the 1940's or early 1950's. Some contained mostly World War II articles and others had various newspaper clippings about weddings, births, accidents, etc.  
Page 1 are  WWII articles.
Page 2 are mostly WWII articles.
Page 3 has WWII and various articles from the 1940's.
Page 4 has articles dating from 1929 to 1932.
Page 5 has articles dating from 1949 to 1951
Page 6 are mostly from 1946
Page 7 has articles dating from 1915 to 1918
Page 8 has articles from 1946 and 1947
Page 9 has articles from 1947 to 1949
Page 10 has articles from 1939 to 1941, includes the greatest court event in the history of Carbon County, the trial of a state policeman for killing a 7th grade Nesquehoning school girl, autopsy showed 8 bullets in slain girl.
Page 11 are mostly from 1944.
Page 12 has articles from 12-30-1944 to 6-22-1945
Page 13 has articles from 6-21-45 to 11-30-45
Page 14 has articles from 1941 to 1943
