Listening 4. As your listening skill is going up, and you vocabulary is being built up, keep (learning) listening English. When i came back from Australia, i experience that my English ability degraded little by little. I tried to keep my English ability by reading English books, almost everyday. It was really a challenge. 5. Use Media. Instead of listen to news, probably it would be more enjoyable for you to listen to music and songs, comedy, or watching DVD movies (try to turn off the subtitle). One of my friend said that it is easier to learn new language from the songs, hmm.. i think it depends on the learner. Watching movies on DVD, Video or VCD can help us to understand in what words are used for certain condition, feeling or circumstance. About news channel, its vocabulary and sentences are quite hard to be understood, but it is good because they use formal and usable English. I think, news channel is really recommended for intermediate to advance level person.
