Where we are.

 

"We come from a land down under" to quote the Australian rock group "MEN AT WORK".

 Where the Tropic of Capricorn crosses the east coast of Australia, approximately 600 kilometres north of Brisbane the capital of Queensland. The southern edge of the Tropics. The City of Rockhampton is 40 kilometres from the coast. Mount Archer name after the first family to settle in the area overlooks the city. The Fitzroy River, the second largest river system is Australia, passes through the town. The climate for Rockhampton, average temperature is  

The city boasts a population of 70,000 people although this tends to increase substantially during the year. The Central Queensland University , The Central Queensland Institute of TAFE  and a number of public and  private Primary & Secondary schools tends to attract a large number students, some international  to the town

Rockhampton, the beef capital of Australia will be hosting "BEEF 2009, and for a list of the activities, if interest a link to their website is here. " (click here for web site) with primary producers coming from all over Australia and the world to discuss, attend seminars on beef production, visit CSIRO Tropical Beef Research Station, and numerous other related and social events.
