What if...
Link and Simon Belmont Created the Ultra Duo?
With Dracula vanquished and Ganon pulverized, Simon Belmont and Link didnt have much to do. Link got really bored so he called Simon.
"Hey Belmont!", said Link, " I saved Hyrule, defeated that pig Ganon, and got the girl. What can we do now?"
"Well," said Simon, "We could destroy The Paperboy!! After saving Transylvania, I didnt have much to do, so I started to deliver papers on my bike. The damn kid came and took over my route!"
"We can do something about that", said Link, raising the Master Sword into the air.
So the heroes got on Captain Skyhawk's plane and went to Startropic Island. They drove toward the suburbs and spotted The Paperboy in his signature blue outfit. Simon cracked his whip into The Paperboy's face, causing the boy to fall to the ground. Link used this opportunity to his advantage. He took out his candle and set all the papers on fire. They then gave each other high fives and went back to Captain Skyhawk's plane.
"Ya know what?", said Link, "I hate that damn Adventure Island guy."
"Yes," said Simon, ecstatically."Let's end his adventure."
So the Duo got on some Excitebikes and sped over to the island. The Adventure Island guy was eating a pineapple under a tree. When he saw the ultimate duo coming, he got on his skateboard and grabbed his tomahawk. Simon laughed at his attempt to fight back. The Adventure Island guy chucked a hawk at Link, but the elfen master jumped, took out the Master Sword and killed the guy.
"That was XXXXtreme!!!," said the two, simultaneously.
For the next thirty years, the two defeated hundreds of Nintendo characters, ranging from Kid Icarus to Mother Brain. They got old and decided to end their conquest, until.......Ganon and Dracula resturned!!!! They bought a Game Genie at Toys R Us and got one free continue each. Alive again, they decided to start their own team, a team of evil. Fearing the worst, Simon and Link called upon all remaining Nintendo characters to defeat them. This included BubbleBobble, Ryu, and Mario. The five of them made their way to the evil lair, which was the last level to Batman, by Sunsoft. They made it to the top of the building, and found nothing there. All of a sudden, the two bad guys came from the shadows and struck the five heroes all at once. Bubble bobble popped, Ryu suffered a pulled hamstring, and Mario got warped back to the Desert world.
"HAHAHA, " screamed Ganon, "You will never defeat us!!!!"
"Cower before us, for we are the new heroes," said Dracula.
Link and Simon were down on the ground. They coud not get up. They were defeated, or so it looked. All of a sudden, the Bad Dudes jumped out and kicked the bad guys off the building, blowing them up in the process.
"THANK YOU BAD DUDES!!!," yelled Link and Simon.
Started to walk away. Finally, Link and Simon could complete their massacre of NES characters. They struck the Bad Dudes with silver arrows, then pelted Andrew WK with Mario 2 "POW" blocks until he died.
