Nerina's second single 'Alien' is out now so if you haven't already bought it then i'd suggest now is a good time to go get it! and while you're out.....the album is on sale too. 'Dear Frustrated Superstar' is a superb album full of awesome songs from the upbeat and very catchy 'Alien' and 'Patience' to the slower songs like 'If I know You' and title track 'Dear Frustrated Superstar'.

The second single to be released from the album will be 'Alien'. An exact date is not known yet but as soon as I find out i'll let you know. Stay tuned to MTV over the coming weeks for the video!! and watch for the key ;o)

New single news! I have just been VERY reliably informed ;o) (Thanks!) that Nerina's next single, 'Alien', will feature 2 new songs! There will also be a Howie B remix on the cassette version. So the track listing will be:
1. Alien (radio version)
2. The Girl from Lakeville
3. 57 Flavours
No date is yet confirmed for release. I dunno about you guys but I can't wait to hear the new songs!!! :o)

* Nerina appears in the latest issue of 'Marie Claire' magazine. It's a lovely little article about Nerina's style and contains some fab pics! I'll try and get it scanned and added to the reviews/articles section but it's definately worth buying or checking out.

* I've found out about 2 gig's coming up....the first being this saturday (22nd Sept.) in London. And the second, is part of Nerina's upcoming 'mini' tour.....it's in Glasgow. For full details check out the tour section here.

*Don't hold me to this if it doesn't happen, but I have a feeling that Nerina will be appearing on the programme 'Pop World' tomorrow morning (sunday 7/10/01). The show starts at 9:30am and runs for an hour on Channel 4 (UK). I don't know this for sure but I don't want you to miss it if she is! Here's hoping!

*Nerina will be supporting Embrace for a special Radio 2 gig taking place in Cardiff on 16th October.....unfortunately there are no more tickets available but you can catch the gig on Radio 2 when it is broadcast that same night on the Janice Long show between 12-3am. Enjoy!!

Sorry for the lack of updates everyone! but i've been travelling around the country seeing Nerina and Rosalie on the tour!! I have so much work to do on the site now that the tour is sadly over :o( Well I hope that a few of you out there got to see a gig on the tour!
Right....here goes....

*At the recent gig at the Hop & Grape in Manchester.....Nerina was interviewed by Mike Gray, a student journalist, and she very kindly asked him if he'd send the interview on to me to put on the site!! How sweet is that?? Thanks Nerina! :o) You can read the full EXCLUSIVE interview here. Thanks very much to Mike for kindly allowing me to put it on here too!

*After completing the tour....there are bound to be reviews so keep checking back for new reviews that should be added.....i'll be adding one myself if I haven't already done so by the time you all read this! Just click on the reviews section.

*Nerina will be appearing on 'The Saturday Show' either this saturday (20th) or next saturday (27th). It is shown first thing saturday mornings on BBC 1 here in the UK.

*Nerina will also be picking her top 10 records on Radio 2 at some point though i'm not sure exactly when it will be broadcast yet but you know that as soon as I find out i'll let you all know!

*The release date for 'Alien' has been put back to the 12th of November....so we'll have to wait the little bit longer for those new songs ;o)

*On a non Nerina subject......if you came to any of the shows on the tour then you will have seen Rosalie Deighton perform......she is absolutely fantastic, as well as being friends with Nerina and this is just a little note to let you know that her debut album is released this monday (22nd) and is titled 'Truth Drug'....I strongly suggest you check it out and grab a copy!! Enjoy! :o)

*Nerina will be supporting PAUL WELLER for one night only at the Royal Albert Hall in London on December 10th!!!! Fantastic! The gig is part of Paul's sell out tour and should be a great platform for Nerina.....I think that this shows that others are finally discovering what we already know....Nerina is fantastic and is gonna be huge huge star!!!!!!!!! Well done Nerina :o)

*I think it is now going to be THIS saturday (3/11/01) that Nerina will be appearing on 'The Saturday Show' to promote 'Alien'. Seems like things have been changed round to allow more promo a lot closer to the actual single release date which is great! So lets hope we get to see Nerina on our screens this weekend....

*Nerina is scheduled to be a guest on Virgin Radio this thursday (8th Nov). She will be popping into the studio on the Pete and Geoff Show which is on between 7 and 10pm so stay tuned. I think Nerina may be performing a track or two also. You can tune in live online at www.virginradio.co.uk or if you're in the UK then set your radio to 1215AM nationwide or 105.8FM in the London area. Enjoy!!
