| *Nerina appears in the latest edition of 'In Style' magazine here in the UK. It is a nice full page article/interview and has a lovely photo too. Well worth checking out :o) It's the December issue with Cate Blanchett on the front. *Well sadly 'Alien' didn't make it into the top 40 but as Nerina has quite rightly said......that's really not such a bad thing considering the crap that IS in the charts at the moment. Jeez it's so annoying though that Bob the friggin' Builder can get to number one yet REAL, fantastic music doesn't even chart.......argh!! Someday the public will sit up and take notice!! Lets hope it's sooner rather than later. |
| Again i'm very sorry it's taken so long for updates....it was a mixture of computer problems and not too much news. But at last i'm back in business so lets see what I can tell you.... *Nerina completed a very successful support slot for Paul Weller on monday (10/12/2001) and was fantastic. The set list was 'If I Know You', 'Patience', 'Daphne and Apollo', 'Norwegian Wood' and 'Daily Bread'. She performed without a band and was on guitar. She was joined for the last 2 songs by Paul Stacey.....Jeremy's brother. Awesome! Well done Ms Pallot!!! :o) *Nerina is shooting the video for her next single 'If I Know You' on the 17th December before heading off for a well deserved break in Australia over christmas and New Year. *The Australian gig at 'The Basement' in Sydney has been brought forward to the 7th of January so those of you in Aus....take note and get yourself along :o) There will also now be a second gig in Australia, in Melbourne. Details to be confirmed but stay tuned. *Nerina has also mentioned on her official site that she plans to tour around the end of February/beginning of March time and that she'll make sure she takes in the places she had to miss on her last tour :o) So again....stay tuned to the sites for info as soon as we get it. March will also see the release of the next single. |

| *Unfortunately, Nerina's gigs in Australia will no longer be taking place. Nerina will be performing an acoustic showcase for her record company there instead. Hopefully Nerina will get to do these gigs another time in the near future. Perhaps, when the record is released there in conjunction with the film 'Crush' (containing 'Alien' in the soundtrack), this may open up the opportunity :o) |

| *NERINA'S SYDNEY GIG IS BACK ON!!!!!! Our Nerina WILL be at The Basement on January 9th at 9pm. Nerina is opening up with an acoustic set. Those lucky enough to be able to go....have a great time! | After a hugely successful support slot on Bryan Adam's recent UK tour.....Nerina is in business!!! Here's the latest news..... *Despite getting ill with a nasty flu after the first 3 gigs of the Bryan tour, Nerina soldiered on and blew everyone away! Picking up a whole new army of fans along the way. I have to mention a few of the dedicated Badfans who I met along the way on the tour, who were just soooo supportive of Nerina and it made the whole atmosphere great. So to name a few of you.....thanks Paul, Paula, Adrian, Shelly, Mave, Lesley and Claire for making the tour a whole lot of fun!! Hopefully catch you at future Nerina gigs. *Nerina's next single will now be 'Photograph' and not 'If I Know You' as previously planned. Those with the album already will know that 'Photograph' is not on the current album release and has only previously been previewed as a regular song in the live setlist. So the album is going to be re-released with a couple of new tracks on, one titled 'Drive With You' and a couple of tracks will be removed from the current release. *The single is due out at the end of April/beginning of May. No video has been shot yet but is planned as soon as the track is ready and complete.....so stay tuned! *The album re-release is due out sometime in May. Again.....more news as I get it. *Expect lots of promo stuff for the new releases as well as gig news to come........ |

| Well.....it's been extremely quiet on the Nerina front since the successful Bryan Adams tour.......and there is an explanation....it's all change as far as previous plans are concerned! At last here's the latest news I can give you.... *As most of you will be aware, the next single release was due to be in April of this year and was going to be 'Photograph'.....possibly followed by 'If I Know You'. Also due....was a re-release of the album to include 'Photograph' as well as new material. None of that happened and it is because those plans have been scrapped!! Before the "OH MY GOD's" start.....NO! Nerina has not been dropped! There is some very good and exciting news as a result! Instead of a re-issue, a NEW ALBUM will be next! And 'Photograph' should hopefully be a single release from that!! So all is not lost. Sure it's disappointing to have to leave the amazing 'Dear Frustrated Superstar' behind but i'm completely convinced that the second album will be just as good or even better than the first!! I understand the new material is going to be a bit "groovier and stringier" to use the words of the lady herself! Add "funky" to that and it looks like we are in for a treat!! I for one cannot wait! A full message/explanation from Nerina will be appearing on her official site anytime soon so do keep an eye out www.nerinapallot.co.uk *As a result of the above, Nerina will be hard at work writing and demo-ing for the new record for the next few months and the release is not expected until the New Year so what will we do till then I hear you ask.......the answer is.....Nerina has been working with Canadian ambience outfit Delerium, who had a #1 single 'Silence' with Sarah McLachlan about 18 months ago, while she's been 'quiet' and they have recorded a song called 'Truly' which looks like it is destined to be a single from Delerium's latest album due to be released in the autumn. So fingers crossed it may well be the big break for our very own Nerina!!!!! *Last but not least, a fab new feature has been added to this site! An email address has been exclusively set up for this site whereby you can get your messages directly to Nerina! It has been set up by myself, so security is not a problem, with fantastic support from Nerina. Nerina has full access to the email now and is looking forward to hearing from her fans!!
