Master Numbers
Master numbers are double-digit numbers that repeat themselves and also carry the vibration of the reduced single digit number. The three most often encountered in numerology are 11, 22, & 33. Each master number reveals a particular kind of potential, as well as increased responsibilities.

Master numbers indicate spiritual gifts that make one highly sensitive to intuition, extrasensory perception, and the world of higher guidance. However, if these energies are not channeled into service to humankind, the resulting tension can create restlessness and physical problems.

Master Numbers
11 Master of inspiration, idealism, visionary, brings light to the world; a leader with spiritual consciousness, reformer of world problems, wants to uplift
22 Master builder, visionary; knows how to plan & execute large projects; wants to bring spiritual principles into the material world; powerful skills of manifestation; humanitarian
33 Teacher of teachers, master of compassion, master of healing through love
Karmic Numbers

The karmic debt numbers are 13,14,16, & 19. These numbers indicate abuses from past lives that must be resolved in this life. The first digit (the 1) in each of these numbers signifies selfish abuse of the number that follows. The second digit indicates the arena in which the selfishness was played out.

When you are reducing, you will want to pay special attention for karmic debt numbers, as well as the master numbers. Numerologists write the karmic debt numbers as follows: 13/4, 14/5, 16/7, & 19/1. The reduced number tells where the debt lies and what the remedy is for releasing the debt.

The number 10 is a karmic number, not a karmic debt number. It is different from the karmic debt numbers, for it is a different kind of karma, good karma. The number 10 means karmic completion and is the number for rebirth. It suggests that the karmic debt has been paid and now the person is free to begin again, free from past debt.

Karmic Numbers
10 Renewal, rebirth, karmic completion, mastery
13 Reworking karmic laziness through discipline
14 Reworking karmic abuse of freedom through order & stability
16 Reworking karmic abuse of responsibility & love through spiritual rebirth
19 Reworking karmic abuse of power through learning to stand up for oneself & at the same time to value interdependence
Karmic Lessons

Karmic lessons are indicated by the numbers missing in your birth name. They are different from karmic numbers, in that they show energy that you haven't experienced, rather than energy that was misused. Assign the appropriate numbers to the letters in your name, and then determine which numbers, if any, are missing. The missing number (or numbers) will make a significant mark on your life, until you master the energy of that number.
