Numerology
| Numerology is the ancient science of names and numbers. As one of the oldest studies, it is a key companion to most metaphysical sciences. The study of numerology allows us to put meaning to the numbers in our lives. From those meanings, we can extract greater understanding of our relationships and the timing of events.
The date of one’s birth is a key factor in numerological interpretations, but so is the person’s name as well. Numerical values are assigned to each letter of the alphabet in order to determine the name’s numerological meaning.

There are five core numbers in interpretation for any individual. Here are the five core numbers and how they’re derived:
- Life Path Number (month + day + year of birth)
- Destiny Number (vowels + consonants of name)
- Soul Number (vowels of the name)
- Personality Number (consonants of the name)
- Maturity Number (birth name + date birth)
In numerology, larger numbers are always reduced to one digit. The exception occurs when you have one of three master numbers. These numbers have special significance. They are 11, 22, & 33.
