Tibet( roof of the world)

Cultural & spiritual exploration across the 'roof of the world' and mountaineering expeditions in Tibet Himalayas.

'The roof of the world' magnificent Tibet, a mysterious land, has been the epitome of remoteness for centuries, a land of high, windswept plateaus, cliff-top monasteries and the stronghold of the Tibetan Lamaism. You will see wild-looking but hardy and hospitable Tibetans, yak caravans journeying over snowy passes, and the great peaks of the Himalaya, maybe with a foreground of grazing herds, yak skin tents and a glittering turquoise lake.

Our overland trips allow you to visit the famous Tashi Lhumpo monastery at Xigatse, the historic town of Gyangtse, the old Bon Po monastery at Sakya, the wonderful lake of Yamdrok Tso, the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Drepung monastery, Barkhor market and many other sites as well. Treks to the base camp of two famous mountains of Tibet Mt. Everest and Shisapangma will give you an experience of a lifetime. We combine most of our treks with a visit to Lhasa, the heart and soul of Tibet and an object of devout pilgrimage a city of wonders to give you the full insight in Tibet and its people. Over the past years our reputation for organizing mountaineering expeditions in Tibet has grown and is second to none.
