Fresh Offering

Every philosophy has become stale,
every figure of speech repetitive dull,
every phrase can be termed a 'clich',
O my dear lady, what may I offer you?

The moon has defect of cyclic variability
the rainbow suffers from glorious uncertainty,
the sun sojourns in its scorching arrogance,
my dear lady, nature has exhausted its treasure.

The societal interactions are clumsy snob,
the sandy beaches crowded with jesting mob,
the age-old meadows have lost their lush,
dear lady, that's why we meet in silent hush.

I can offer you a fresh flower, full of thought
- this poetic stanza - to decorate your currly hat!

Jumping Beyond the Bounds

Why do you insist to run
in search of illusory vistas?
this oasis, though narrow,
offers you enough space
to stretch your imagination.

It is the island, the bound earth,
that is the place for action,
to fathom the secrets of ocean,
the mighty waves try to unsettle you,
but weaken at its defiant shores.

And likewise, do not be deluded
by the narrow confines of the mind,
in this six-foot frame of the body;
the whole history of mankind
is the product of its soaring flights.
