The following is a guide to dwelling at court. It is my wish that all members of
The Royal Court
use good manners when dealing with each other and other citizens of Neopia.
Consider the following to be a guide in that area;kindness, consideration and respect are
the keys to a contented life at court.
It is expected of each member that they treat each other as Royalty.
Every member has the ear of
The Queen Mum
and any problems should be addressed to her or her council as quickly as possible.
Everyone makes mistakes but there is never a good excuse for bad behavior.
The following are not rules but they are a
Code of Conduct
which it is hoped all members will adhere to.
Observe and obey all rules of The Neopets Team!
1. No bad language, if in doubt leave it out.
2. Be helpful, if it is in your power assist your fellows.
3. Never ask for promotion, if it is to be the Council will recommend your promotion.
4. Never disrespect a fellow member.
5. When asking for assistance know that it is a privilege and not a right that your fellow members come to your aid.
6. Personal conversations on the board are allowed however, if of a personal nature use Neomail instead.
7. If you disagree with something that someone is doing request assistance from Council do not take matters into your own hand. (Please remember that members of council are not on 24/7.)
8. Be mindful of the fact that there are young children in the Guild say nothing in a post that could be upsetting to their little minds.
9. Say thank you when a Guild member assist you, this is not enforcible but expected.
10. Never beg.
11. If you make a mistake say sorry and move on we're all friends here.
12. Honor the Code.
13. Regarding chat speak it gags the Queen please don't do it!
The council is to observe the following as well as the code:
1. If at all possible should someone make a mistake and use bad language remove the offending word or phrase and repost on the assumption that it was an error in judgement not an attempt to be rude.
2. Whenever possible give Members of Court the benefit of the doubt.
3. Delete all begging post and send a neomail to posting party that it is against the code.
4. Report all conflict to The Queen Mum.
5. While mistakes can be expected by Members of Court and Council deal with them diplomatically and privately. Never post critical post regarding Members of Court.
6. When possible give Members of Court the opportunity to apologize and move on.
7. This is a family friendly play area: protect our adults and our children from anything that could cause them harm.
