Normaly I have to learn (maybe English *g*), but this is what I want to say the world today:

It took a long time till it was save I had the chance to go to Vienna for celebrating New Year's eve there. Only the 19th december was the day when I got the ok. Thanks Pamela Villa from Swatch-Club Austria ! Fast I had to book a flight and then the 31st was there. Start in Stuttgart by train to Frankfurt/M. in snow, the flight was around 60 minutes. Vienna - green. This have to change next time, Austria L.

My last "Austro-Dollars" were needed for the bus to took me from Schwechat (airport) to the city-center. 70 OES for 20 minutes driving - they are crazy. Back to the airport it was only 5,80 EURO, 1 Cent less. (only to accustom the new currency).

But it was a lot from arriving to leaving: I met an inhabitant and three other guys at the bus-terminal only to drive the goods we have with us to an appartement. Then we went direct to the Prater, first to get extra Specials and to make the accreditation. Some starters and aperetif were served. The participants of the 4-Day-Event and the Club-Managers arrived later and it was a big "Hello".

A snowboard-contest was outside, i don't think many from the Club-members caught this. There was to much to eat and to drink at buffet and bar. Lobster, salmon, some meat accompanied by alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We drove with Ferries wheel and danced at 12:00 p.m. the waltzer. "Happy new year !" to all readers.

There were also a concert with different groups, but I did not see so much from them because the meal was even more important.

We went to the appartement at about 4:00 a.m. and slept till 9:00 a.m. - then the first wanted to leave. My flight were in the evening and so I joined a nice sightseeing-tour. Thank you V. !
