Do you really expect a detailed report about the Athens Olympic Games nearly 3 months ago? In this case I would like to recommend the site http://home.arcor.de/folon2/athens2004.html where Stephen Carroll wrote about his impressions.
I was there.
Yes, the mood was unbelievable. Mankind from
all over the world – athletes from 202 nations and hopefully also fans from all
this countries to support – joining a big party and competition peaceful and in
harmoniously way.
Only served at the OAKA was Hot Dog
(miserably), Gyros (looked ugly), Pizza (every time sold out) and “McDo” – this
has to be changed. Final bell for the catering. More than 200 nations means 200
regional specialties I like to taste.
But… everyone who is able to join Olympic Games
in the future should go there to feel the spirit.
Unfortunately the chance to do it as a
Swatch-Club-member is low as it seems the Swatch-Group will use their
timekeeper-equipment at Torino and Bejing with the
Omega-Brand. Is this the death bell for the Swatch-Label?
I’m fully
aware: this is not what the Swatch-people wants to read, but as a fan, it
should be also allowed to say critical words.
