I'm trying to get to work so I can run atleast 'blackbox'.
     At this point, i think i need the s3_drv.o driver but for
     some reason xfree86 4.1.0 doesn't have it.
     it seems like xfree86 3.3.6 does have it, but i may be wrong.
     i've tried used the generic vga driver with 8 bit color
     but i get half a screen of gui...i can see that X is sorta
     working and i can load blackbox, but everything is gigantic
     in size, and it's also only half the screen, the top half
     of the screen is still completely black. i must keep trying.
