| The Anime Pact was originally written by Goten6k. But, because his site closed, i have decided to redo the anime pact, which will keep it alive. Basically, this pact was written due to the exessive amount of corruption that one occurs in the community. There are sites here and there, trying to hack other sites, and trying to ruin other sites. When you first open a site, it is filled with happiness cause you want to do something special. As some of the older sites remember, there were many good sites out there, they were large sites, yet they still helped the younger ones and the community functioned well. You were good the the community, and it was good to you. Now you see all this crap going around, webmasters have an inflated ego when they're site is so large, and they think they've done so much without anyone. Also, the shift has gone from the true fans to impressing other webmasters. They think they're special cause they can illegally download Photoshop 7 and be really good with graphics that has no content what-so-ever, while the honest webmaster works hard and gets no respect. The community is way too competitive, webmasters should help each other, not hack, steal and critisize each other. A lot of webmasters are snotty, and try to ignore you cause they think they are so popular and cant talk with the "lower" class. I consider myself a fairly sucessful webmaster, and I try to be nice and considerate of people that Instant Message me, even when I am busy. Fan should also recieve new fresh content, not stolen content that you've taken from someone else. Some webbies have worked their ass off to devote for their site, and then somebody just steals it. Basically, the purpose of this anime pact is to promote better webmaster relationship, and to become a better webmaster at serving your fans. If you support what i have just said, there are a few things you can do to support the anime pact. First off, you can make a section in your site labbed "Anime Pact" and either copy what i have written, or make one up yourself, but make sure to include a place where it says that they can also join the anime pact.
