What exactly is this About

PBEM RPG's

PBEM RPG's or Play-by-e-mail Role Playing Games, have been around for quite a long time now in the internet, in a hunch that this is started by enthusiastic fans who want to weave their own stories of their favorite characters, whether Anime, Cartoons, characters from fiction books and even characters they make on their own, but instead of being by oneself, like fanfictions authors, these people interact with other people who also like the certain topic, anime or maybe they just want to have fun, thus PBEM RPG's are born.

More often, they are seen in forums or message boards like Yahoo! Groups but there are also websites, with more authenticity in playing their PBEM RPG's.

Nobody needs to be a novelist to join in these though, there are just a few things to have in playing: cooperation, enjoyment and a sense of mind (no one really likes really senseless posts ne?), cooperation for the rules and the moderators and the members as well, that's why most post the rule: No OOC (out of character) fighting, because no one would want a fight when everyone is just having fun, enjoyment, because it is the reason why we do RPG's and a sense of mind, even though you get wacky at posts you couldn't be too wacky to be sent to a mental hospital.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon

Takeuchi Naoko, has created Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon which was all about Super Heroines wearing outfits similar to Japanese students. Released in a television series and in manga (Japanese comics) Sailormoon has become a hit with lots of people and because of this has been known worldwide with different manga translations and dubs or subtitles in the series. Neo Sailormoon RPG

What is the RPG about? Sailormoon of course! The main reason why this RPG started is that most of the Sailormoon RPG's in Yahoo! Groups are hentai/ecchi (which is adult in Japanese) or dead RPG's because most of the members are in hiatus. It's not that I have anything against those but I wanted a more wholesome RPG wherein the story is not just sex, cuss, and more sex or wherein the RPG only lasts about a week. That is why this RPG group is born.
