EPISODE #1 "SKIN AND BONES"

Tension between Max and Michael continue to rise as Max struggles to come to terms with his destiny. Max disregards Michael's suggestion to seek out other aliens and orders them to lay low. Meanwhile, a geologist discovers bones that implicates Michael and he is arrested. Valenti does everything to try and help him, but it ultimately falls to Max and the others to save Michael from the FBI. Elsewhere, in an attempt to forget about Max, Liz immerses herself in working for a congresswoman that has recently come to Roswell. Unfortunately, Liz discovers that she is interested in other things apart from politics and is drawn back to Max and the others.

EPISODE #2 "ASK NOT"

Since Nasedo's death, Max has realised that he must take a much more active role as the group's leader. This is reinforced when the UFO museum is taken over by a suspicious man, new to Roswell. Michael is convinced that they will all be killed if Max continues to lead as he is, so he decides to break into the museum and find out for himself. He is almost killed and later manages to convince Max to kill the new owner. Meanwhile, Kyle returns to find his father busy on the Nasedo case and Tess living in his bedroom. Liz continues to bury herself in work, trying to forget about Max, who implores that he has no feelings for Tess.

EPISODE #3 "SURPRISE"

Max decides to throw Isabel a surprise birthday party, but the happiness does not last long as Isabel begins to get visions of an injured Tess. Realizing that Tess has been missing for a while, Max enlists Sherrif Valenti to help him track her down.
Unable to hang around, Isabel decides to look for Tess by herself, and by instinct locates her friend. Things become more complicated as they realize that they have yet another enemy to deal with. Meanwhile, Maria becomes increasingly jealous of a new waitress at the Crashdown, when she finds her alone with Michael on more than one occasion.

EPISODE #4 "SUMMER OF '47"

After a poor start to the school semester, Michael's History teacher tells him to interview a WWII veteran, and write a paper on what he learns. Although he is unhappy with the assignment, Michael learns more than he had anticipated. He learns through flashbacks that the colonel had saved the lifes of 2 alien pods in 1947, despites the efforts of his superiors at the time. From this, Michael concludes that one pod contained Max, Isabel, Tess and himself, and that others like them were out there somewhere. After realizing he has treated his friends unfairly, Michael apologizes to Liz and takes Maria to the Granolith, in order to explain his behaviour.
