Isaiah 53:5,6,12 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all... Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. NKJV
I Peter 2:24-25 With His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed. For you were sheep going astray; but are now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Romans 1:1-4; 5:6-9 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God, (which He had promised before by His prophets in the holy scriptures,) concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of Holiness, by the resurrection from the dead...For when we were without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commends His love toward us, in that, while were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
I Corinthians 15:3-8 For I [Paul] delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures: and that He was seen of Cephas, the of the twelve: after that, He was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain to this present, but some have fallen asleep. After that, He was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all the things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen. Luke 24:44-47 And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all the things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me. Then He opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures. And He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus if behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remissions of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Acts 1:1-3 ...of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen: to whom Healive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
I Timothy 1:14; 2:4-6 And the grace of God was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus...God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Titus 2:11-14; 3:3-8 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us to deny ungodliness and wordly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearing of the great God and Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works...For we also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
Romans 3:10,11,23-25 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one. There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God...For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remissions of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. 5:1,2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 6:35,51 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to Me shall never hunger; and he that believes on Me shall never thirst...I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world 8:12 Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 10:9-11 I am the door: if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 11:25-27 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall live: And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? She said to Him, Yea, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, which shoud come to the world. 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me. 15:5,6 I am the vine, and you are the branches: he that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing. If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is whithered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 8:24,58,59 ...for if you believe not that I am He, you shall die in your sins... Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Then they took up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. 10:30-33 I and My Father are One. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from My Father; for which of those works do you stone Me? The Jews answered Him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a Man, make yourself God. Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM. And He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.
Colossians 1:12-20 Giving thanks to the Father, which has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who had delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His Son: in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn of every creature: for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the begininning, the firstborn of the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all fullness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of His Cross, by Him to reconcile all things to Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of Godhead bodily, and you are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power. |
