Just what is this deal with Grooming Police

Just know they are out there.  From the time you arrive till the show ends, there are assigned people who will be watching you!  Remember this is a no groom show.  If you are caught grooming your animal, you will be awarded a ticket with a hefty voluntarily payable fine.  (usually in the neighborhood of $1)  In the same light, if you are even caught holding a grooming tool, you will be fined.  A simple solution is to just leave all tools of this nature home.  If  some hay from another llama's pen should happen to fall on your animal as you walk by on the way to the show ring, you may not touch it, or you will be fined.  If you are caught admiring someone else's clean animal, you will be fined.  If you exhibit any form of a bad attitude, you will be fined.  If grooming police see anything they see necessary as giving you a fine, you will be fined.  Therefore, all fines voluntarily paid will go into a pot along with your ticket stating your infraction.  At the end of the show, one ticket will be drawn.  You will then have the choice of taking all the money paid for fines, or taking the tickets awarded for the fines.  (hint: one choice is better than the other)  One way to look at this is, the more fines you pay, the  better chance you have of winning.  Of course, Grooming Police have the right to not issue you any fines if you would appear to them to be too lucky.
