Previous : 02/07/03 Next : 04/07/03 03/07/03 4th day in Beppu *************** had to wake up early in the morning for our breakfast... have also decided that I should not eat rice early in the morning... =) first stop - Jigoku - hell yup~ we went to the hot srpings again... this time.. its the red jigoku.. the water is red... hm... not as impressive as expected but still not too bad~ followed by dragon Jigoku... hm... the water will shoot up for about 5 minutes.. then stop for bout half an hour... then another 5 minutes.. lucky~ we got to watch the 5 minutes! heh.. apparently the temp is 105 degrees celsius... isn't that steam?? hm... but below the ground its 150.. hm... hot hot... ********************* traveled all the way back to around our hotel for a bath.. had our lunch there.. geee.. Jap people have extremely big appetite!! one big bowl of noodles... I could only finish half... my brother could only finish bout 3/4 of it... its impossible to finish one meal in Japan... you'd feel too bloated... Thank goodness we got to have our bath... its this Onsen whereby there's 6 pools... a gym... and other facilities... hm.. spent around 2 hours there.. supposedly bathing would refresh you.. but after bathing in so many tubs.. I felt quite exhausted... not forgetting the fact that one of the pool is exercise pool... so... heh... ********************* traveled back to the Jigoku to finish our visit to the other 3 hells... one hot srping was white in colour... one was non-impressive... the one which looked really impressive on the picture was in fact a cheater!! thought the crocodiles actually swam in the waters... but I was wrong!!! they swam in waters which are not so hot... darn... I felt so cheated... =l ********************* traveled back to our hotel again... this time for a sand bath!!! ooo... you lay down and then these people bury you with warm sand... its good!! but its so super hot!!! was sweating like mad... and I was only buried for bout 10 minutes... geee... then went for a shower.. and was being totally blur.. plus I didn't understand what the Obasans were saying... sheeze.. she was trying to tell me to use one of those small little scoops so I won't burn in the bath.. so I just looked at her and wondered what the hell she was saying.. then some nice lady helped me out... heh.. its was freaking hot!!! thanx to her warning... =) anyway they're really nice... *********************** went back to the hotel and slept.. was soooo exhausted after one who day's of bath... but good!! my skin feels smooth!!! =) ****** **************** dinner was crazy.... they must have cooked like 6 people meal for us... there goes my diet!! =( ****************** I like Beppu... its a nice place... =) ¡@ Previous : 02 /07/03 Next : 04 /07/03 ¡@
