Mystical Fate was formed in Set�bal, in 1995, by Jo�o Abra�os (guitars, currently in Nephtys), and Nuno Carrilho, who were joined by Jo�o Paulo (bass), Ricardo Gon�alves (vocals) and M�rio Pinto (keyboards). The style was melodic Black Metal and they played several gigs, including the 1st festival of Black Metal of Set�bal (with Eternal Mourning and Apheron, the latter no longer in existence). In 1997 their only recorded work was released, a demo entitled 'Evernal Storm Nocturn', recorded at the Clic Estudio in Coimbra, featuring five songs. By the end of 1999 a new guitarist came in, Nuno Gerv�sio. But in the winter of 2000 the band amiably split up, and the two guitar players went on to form Nephtys.
