I've been riding since I was 4 years old. I own two horses, Jeff's Speed and Shy. I've had Jeff since I was 11 and Shi since I was16. They are both Standardbreds. I compete in eventing with Jeff and Shi is kind of a pasture potato. He was lame and then it was said he could be ridden so someone asked me to train him (being an xracer he had never had anyone on his back even though he was ten years old) and then I kind of adopted him. Then he became lame again so he can only go out for walk/trot trail rides. Eventing rules and so do Standardbreds! I'm also interested in the classical dressage (done by the Lipizzaners) though I doubt I'd ever be able to do it! Besides horses my other interests are: writing, rowing, animals, anything to do with my hands and playing the piano. Gabby note: everyone should volenteer for an animal shelter for one month of your life!
