Minimum/General Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in developing and producing interactive software materials for training and promotional purposes. Experienced with multi-media authoring environments and digital sound, video, and still graphics/photograph production applications. Performs a variety of multimedia-based tasks, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of multi-media systems.
Functional Responsibility:
- Assembles text, graphic, tabular and video materials into a logical format for final production in an electronic media (CD-ROM, DVD, etc)
- Possesses an extensive working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Premiere, PhotoShop, iMovie, and other publication applications necessary to assemble final electronic publications.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of technical and specialized terminology, acronyms, abbreviations, and scientific notation in the fields of aeronautical engineering, electronics, weapons design, and avionics.
- Conducts final quality check of electronic files prior to release. Checks text, graphics, and tables for “big picture” errors. Confirms all text, tables, and illustrations have proper security markings.
- Represents the Company in outside discussions, technical forums, etc.
Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer or related discipline is required. Education may be substituted with two (2) years of related experience for one (1) year of college education.
