Sleeping Beauty

And her beauty was a refreshing
breath of air upon my face
And her lips they seldom broke free
from the hold of countless pains
And she dreamt of a time of enchanted things
where the ones like her drift on silver wings
And her mind is peaceful, full of bliss
when her frozen frown is melted by the kiss
And her face was framed with white gold
and her eyes burned through me blue
And the cold flame of her mind's eye
could not see that love that's true
And it's a deep, dark thing that takes you
like the cold hand of fate
Right to the edge of nothing
in a quiet - reclusive state
The count of shadows and the lady of light
live within the walls of dark night
He's chipping away the stone that forms the shell
around her heart, to her sadness bid farewell.
Everything else can slowly decay,
for-all-I-care, when I'm with you,
Just go away... and his mind was peaceful, full of bliss
when his frozen heart was melted by her kiss.
